On Saturday the Alipore Meteorological Department has issued a rain forecast. Kalbaishakhi predictions of the Alipore Meteorological Department in Kolkata and Southern districts of Bengal. Due to the formation of depression axis in Bihar and Odisha a cyclone have formed over Bihar, Jharkhand and Gangetic plains of West Bengal.
Areas of Birbhum, Bankura and Murshidabad are most likely to get hit by heavy rainfall. On Friday the Kalbaishakhi have caused heavy rainshower and storm in Jalpaiguri, Coch Bihar and several other districts of North Bengal. The Meteorological Department has issued forecast of light to moderate rainfall in Kolkata along with the districts of North Bengal.
