In fact, those who are questioning Bharatiya Janata Party government that what have they done for the nation, now should at least shut their mouth! That too, the Congress party and its followers must look back at those 70 years of dark history of India! One can definitely understand why all those decades have gone into a vein with no development!
Since Modi government came to power in 2014, India started to recover from that corruption, financial crisis, terrorism etc- It is unfortunate that some opposition party still wants to oppose the BJP, not because the nation is developing, but because of their overconfidence of capabilities in their administration strategy which were never successful and just to get political power!
However, the good news is after 70 years of independence, a Remote tribal village in Amravati’s Bulumgavhan in Maharashtra got electrified! It is reported that the initiative has been taken under the Pradhan Mantri Sahaj Bijli Har Ghar Yojana – ‘Saubhagya’. According to reports, around 105 homes have received electricity in the village under the Pradhan Manthri scheme!
One of the villagers said to the reporters that, “It was difficult when there was no electricity, our children could not study after it turned dark. We are very happy now.”
“The village sets an ideal example of collective efforts of the Government administration and villagers,” the government official said.
It is reported that the nearest town from the village with the population of just over 500 is at the distance of 112 Km. Also, Rural Development Fellows Scheme under the Government played a key role in the development. The villagers are happy with the development!
Not only Maharashtra’s tribal village, in 2017, December, it was reported that the village, called Jokapatha is situated in the mountainous region and had been living without power supply since independence. The electric supply has been provided to several villages by the state government led by Chief Minister Raman Singh. ANI reports that the villagers were extremely happy on receiving the electric connection. Villagers said that the electric supply will now enable their children to do well in their studies. Students too expressed their happiness over the development.
