“On the other hand, there was also a terrible satisfaction amongst Muslims, who had not completely forgotten the Partition’s unpleasant aftermath. Hindus and Sikhs were alike paying for their ‘sins’. They were paying for the blood they had drawn in 1947. They were paying for the life of Mrs Indira Gandhi who, after her father Jawaharlal Nehru, was perceived as the “Only hope of the Muslims” in India.”.
Wasn’t it disgusting to read the above paragraph which was filled with communal hatred to a particular religion? You will get frustrated and further disgusted after you come to know that it was written by a former minister under the Congress-led UPA government, Mr Salman Khurshid.
This piece of information was revealed by Professor Rakesh Sinha who also slammed Rahul Gandhi saying “Challenging Rahul Gandhi to take action on Salman Khurshid for his highly fascistic communal remark against Sikhs justifying killings in 1984 riots in his book ‘At Home: A Restatement of Indian Muslims’“.The content in the book was clearly provocative and communal was targeting the Hindus and the Sikhs, but instead of apologizing to the Indians for spreading venom and false narrative in the society, Congress leader Salman Khurshid started attacking Prof Rakesh Sinha saying “Are you really a Professor? Confessor of evil, more like it”.
Mr Sinha responded by saying “Are these not your words, Mr Khurshid? Instead of denying or apologising you are questioning my integrity. These are highly provocative and racial re, arks by you, that to a person claims himself a liberal which definitely you are not”.Salman Khurshid again exhibited his hypocrisy by saying “You confirm that you are an anti-intellectual. I pity you”. However, Prof Sinha kept his cool and countered Mr Khurshid with facts and said “Does intellectualism mean communalising the society with racial revengeful expression? How could you show guts to justify 1984 bloodbath and finding in it terrible satisfaction?”.
What will be Rahul Gandhi’s response to this?
- Senior Congress leader has said that Muslims are angry because of the bloodshed that took place during the partition. This claim is really hilarious because how can the Muslims blame on the Hindus and Sikhs? What was Nehru doing if he indeed fought for Independence? Isn’t it Nehru and his team responsible for the blood shed that happened in 1947? How the Hindus and Sikhs are to be blamed?
- If the facts are to be considered, it was lakhs of Hindus who lost their lives but the Hindus are not keeping any grudge or hatred against any of the people involved in that gory act. Then why is Mr Salman Khurshid spreading hate through his books?
- Coming to Indira Gandhi, as soon as she was assassinated by her body guard, the Congress supporters allegedly killed thousands of Sikhs in the streets. The accused include several Congress leaders like Jagdish Tytler. But Salman Khurshid is saying that They were paying for the life of Mrs Indira Gandhi who, after her father Jawaharlal Nehru, was perceived as the “Only hope of the Muslims” in India.
What will Rahul Gandhi say about this? Will he hold a rally to save India from these communal leaders? Indian Judiciary is the most trusted but Rahul Gandhi wants to eliminate CJI. Where is Congress heading?
