A year ago, this noted journalist who is well known for spreading hate between communities, insulting Hindus and even trolling the Bharatiya Janata Party, had said “Woman ‘gang raped for eating beef”.
But the Uttar Pradesh police had slammed her claims saying “Tweet seems fictional as we could not verify it from anywhere. Kindly let us know the details”. Yet she hadn’t apologized for her communal and fake tweet.
Almost a month back, she had slammed Major Gogoi when reports emerged that he was found in a hotel room of Jammu and Kashmir with a minor girl. But when the Indian army fans defended the Major Gogoi even before the inquiry panel was set-up, Sagarika Ghose got enraged.
Mocking at the Patriots, she said “Exactly, Bhakt-trolls, please take note. Army says if Major Gogoi proved in the wrong, action will be taken. So much for your foul-mouthed hysterical defence even before the army inquiry”.
Now a report has emerged that Major Gogoi has been given clean chit and even the girl who was with him was declared as a major unlike what the Gogoi haters had claimed. The Jammu and Kashmir police in their report said “The case was not found cognizable. The girl was handed over to the family while Army officer
Leetul Gogoi and his associate Sameer Ahmed Malla were handed to their Army unit”.
Prior to the investigation, Indian Army General Bipin Rawat had said “If Major Gogoi has done something wrong then I can say that he will be given due punishment & the punishment will be such that it will set an example”.
Prior to the investigation, Sagarika Ghose had said “Major Gogoi caught with teenage girl in a hotel, police orders probe”.
But an Indian exposed her lies by saying,
Don’t be too happy Sagarika Ghose.
1. Documents of the girl say she is 19 year old, so an adult.
2. They were never ‘caught’. The hotel reception refused to let the girl and her male companion meet the Army officer.
3. Failed attempt by Islamists and Seculars to implicate.
Major Gogoi was in news last year after he had caught hold of a stone pelter and tied him to the Army jeep. This was done just because the stone pelters, who were turning violent around a polling booth and a situation had arised where the bunch of Army soldiers could have been lynched.
But Major Gogoi prevented this with his smartness and brave tactics. This had served like a “burnol moment” to the sympathizers of the stone-pelters.
It was a plan to defame the brave Major!
