Yesterday a bunch of so called liberals and human rights activists were rightly slammed by the Supreme Court for defending those who were involved in assassination plot of Narendra Modi.
The lawyers who represented the urban naxals had demanded the release of all 5 people on the grounds that they were arrested by Modi government in order to curb their voices which they termed as undeclared emergency.
The lawyers also demanded an SIT to be formed and the case to be transferred from Maharashtra police to which the Supreme Court refused and said that the case wasn’t filed to curb voices but filed as there was prima facie evidence against all 5 activists.
“Accused persons do not have a say in the investigating agency that probes them. Not a case of arrest due to dissent,” said the apex court , adding, “evidence doesn’t show that the arrest was made to quell dissent.”
Since the time the court pronounced the verdict against the will of urban naxals, their entire pseudo liberal lobby has come in open to attack CJI Deepak Misra. They are trying to intimidate and pressurize him to give a verdict that suits their agenda. Former additional solicitor general Indira Jaisingh was the first to mount scathing attacking against Deepak Misra saying that he has dented his image. After her, the so called human rights activists are trying to pressurize Deepak Misra calling him government agent.
This was the same tactic these people used to attack Deepak Misra while he was hearing Justice Loya death case. The entire lobby got together to attack him calling him BJP agent and threatened him of impeachment. This was nothing but a gimmick played by the Congress and its supporters to mask themselves to be human rights activists, liberals and activists.
It was a well known fact that the impeachment attack was to make Deepak Misra adjourn the Ram Mandhir case which otherwise would become a huge benefit to BJP ahead of 2019 elections.
So, it is obvious for these people to even threaten a Supreme Court judge if the judgment doesn’t be in their favour. Congress which thinks that all government institutes are meant to serve them and their family has taught this culture of maligning, threatening and intimidating anyone who goes against them.
