Yesterday the absconder Vijay Mallya claimed that he had met with the Finance Minister Arun Jaitley before he left India for settlement.But after Finance Minister rubbished his claim and said he never had any meeting with him, Vijay Mallya took a massive U-turn and said he didn’t have a formal meeting with the Finance Minister.
He said his statement has been twisted and media has created controversy over it. He said he just have an interaction with Finance Minister in the Parliament.
Even after the clarifications by Vijay Mallya, opposition and Congress party didn’t stop and is continually attacking Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, Prime Minister Modi and his Government.
Congress President Rahul Gandhi held a news conference and claimed that he has evidence to prove Finance Minister’s meeting with Vijay Mallya.He said P.L Punia is an eye witness of meeting happened between Finance Minister and absconder Vijay Mallya. Rahul Gandhi laid allegation that the deal has been struck between absconder Vijay Mallya and finance Minister. The Congress President demanded resignation of Finance Minister as well.
Countering his attack on Finance Minister, the former Congress insider Shehzad Poonawalla has made a serious charge against Congress President Rahul Gandhi in relation to another absconding fraud-accused, Nirav Modi.
Taking to twitter, Shehzad Poonawalla claimed that if this is the case and things should be judged in this way then I am an eye witness to the meeting between Rahul Gandhi and Nirav Modi

The former Congress insider said he is ready to undergo lie detector test also. And if he is lying he will leave politics.
Poonawalla reiterated that this whole mess of NPAs is due to Congress Government.Loans to all absconders like Vijay Mallya, Nirav Modi or MehulChoksi, were given during the UPA era
He even raised the question on Congress President meetings in London. He asked the Congress President just like you met Nirav Modi, who else did you meet in London? Do you hold such parties with liquod baron Vijay Mallya also?
Union Law & Justice and IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad also turned the heat back on Congress president Rahul Gandhi over his demand for Finance Minister Arun Jaitley to be probed. The union minister has asked whether Congress President Rahul Gandhi and Vijay Mallya are working in tandem citing the Congress president’s recent visit to London and UPA’s financial benefits accorded to Kingfisher Airlines.
